What We Did
As part of our commitment to increase efficiencies across our operations, we brought together the engineers and equipment of Mantec and EGL Vaughan, enabling the latter’s clients, such as MCT Brattberg, to benefit from more powerful machinery.
This, coupled with a significant investment in new tooling sophistications and continuous learning and development, has enabled us to pass on considerable benefits to our customers — including shorter lead times and cost savings.
How We Helped
Our investment in technology and the synergising of our operations resulted in some notable benefits for MCT Brattberg.
Firstly, we were able to decrease the number of cuts needed to produce their components from 14 to just five, without reducing quality. This drastically reduced lead times for the client.
In addition, reducing the number of cuts also removed the need for thread repair when the components returned from plating. This had been a constant issue for MCT Brattberg, as the requirement for additional work regularly resulted in unreliable delivery times.
Now, all of this is a thing of the past, and the client is enjoying a superior level of service.
