CarnaudMetalbox (CMB) Engineering designs, develops, and manufactures high-performance metal forming and finishing machinery. Their products are primarily used for making food & beverage containers and aerosol cans.
The company is a long-standing customer of Mantec Engineering, returning to us time and again whenever they need CNC machining support.
What We Did
Continuously improving quality control, technology, and training has enabled us to evolve our manufacturing processes — including the ones we used to create products for CMB Engineering. Crucial to achieving this goal was the sharing of knowledge and expertise between all of the highly-skilled engineers that are part of the Allied Global Engineering family.
This combination of obtaining a fresh perspective on processes and pushing the limits of our state-of-the-art machinery enabled us to spot inefficiencies in the existing process and develop a new way of working.
An example of this involves utilising quality probes within our CNC machines, rather than pausing production to carry out external checks.
